The Health & Safety of our TEAM and YOU is of paramount importance.

These are unprecedented and unusual times that we are living in and we know some of you will be quite nervous about coming to our salon. Perhaps you may have anxieties about leaving the house after being stuck in lockdown, being around people again, or even worried about getting coronavirus.

These feelings are valid and normal, and trust us, we have felt them too. But we are here to get through this together in the most understanding, kindest and, above all, safest way we can. 

Our AWARD WINNING SALON is still the friendly and bubbly place our clients have always loved, but the way we work will look a little different. Though still nothing to worry about! We call it ‘the new normal’, and it makes our salon one of the safest around. 

We have put in place not only the Government’s recommendations for salons but we have added our own measures too to keep our TEAM and YOU safe. If you want to know what those are, please see below for our list of new normal procedures.

We want you to feel safe when you walk through our doors and confident when you walk out of them. Have confidence in us, put your nerves to one side and get booked in today and look forward to waving goodbye to your lockdown locks!

P.S. Please remember that though your stylist may look different with PPE and masks, they are still fun, friendly, happy to see you and will be smiling behind the mask!

The ‘new normal’ Health & Safety procedures from 4th July 2020

 Everyone will have their temperature taken with a non contact digital thermometer when entering the salon (If the reading is high, you will then be asked to make a new appointment at least 7 days later)

 Customers must use our hand sanitiser when entering the salon. Please bring your own as well.

 Scissors and other tools will be thoroughly disinfected between each client, as well as hairdressing chairs

 Hairdressing cloaks will be washed after each use and, if possible, a disposable cloak will be worn over the top

Haircuts and Colours are by appointment only to avoid customers waiting in the salon. You cannot bring anyone else to the appointment who does not have an appointment including children.

You will be asked to keep a 2m distance except when the haircut/colour is taking place. There will be clear markings and signage 

 Customers and hairdressers must wear face masks. (Please bring your own mask. If you do not have a face mask you will be given one but charged £1)

Direct communication and general chat will be kept to a minimum – discussion & consultation  about hair style, colour etc will be done via a mirror and kept to a minimum.

 You cannot just book a blow dry service until further notice

No dry haircuts will be allowed. You must have a shampoo with your haircut. (This will increase the price. ) SEE PRICES HERE

Limiting the amount of staff/stylists and customers at any given time 


Using back to back or side to side working (rather than face to face)

Using a clear screen/barrier at reception and cleaning the PDQ machine after each use

Due to limiting the number of employees working at any given time we have increased our opening times and days, opening 7 days a week for YOU!

Monday: 9am to 6pm
Tuesday: 8am to 6pm
Wednesday: 12pm to 8pm
Thursday: 12pm to 8pm
Friday: 9am to 6pm
Saturday: 9am to 5pm
Sunday: 9am to 4pm

New Terms & Conditions from July 2020

  • For all new clients to the salon a £20 deposit will be required to confirm your appointment. Please see cancelation policy HERE
  • The 25% OFF anyone service for new clients has been ‘paused‘ until further notice
  • The Wednesday colour day offer 25% OFF any colour when booked with another service has been ‘paused‘ until further notice.
  • The 25% OFF Kerastraight Monday offer has been ‘paused’ until further notice.
  • If you are more than  15 minutes late you will be asked to rearrange a new appointment.
